• The project management students who are full time on campus will meet with Dr. Kanabar, Director of Project Management Programs at Photonics, 9th Floor at 7:15 PM on 29th November 2007.
• Preparing for the PMP Exam is scheduled to be held at 808 Commonwealth Ave. Room 250. This will be held between December 13th and and 15th 2007. Students should register at http://ors.bu-pm.com
• Former students of Project Management at Boston University in the Boston area area are requested to email Dr. Kanabar if they are interested in giving an overview of their experience with taking the PMP exam as well passing on some good pointers. You will then be able to claim PDUs towards recertication!

•  Project Management Institutue. GAC Academic Forum. Dean Halfond was invited to present a keynote session on the topic of “Project Management in Higher Education–Serving the Needs of Industry.”   at the PMI Conference in Atlanta.

    Also at the same forum  Dr. Vijay Kanabar and Dr. Roger Warburton were panelists on the topics of: PMI Global Accreditation Center (GAC) Program and Process

• Dean Halfond hosted an open house in Atlanta where the staff and faculty of Boston University Metropolitan College met about 40 current students and former alumni.
• We also had the opportunity to meet more current and prospective students at the Boston University Booth. This was a very busy booth and several hundred conference vistors kept the staff busy with questions.
